Developing local entrepreneurs and keeping out giant corporations

Crashes are going to come, so we’re going to have to come together and realise that we can’t do things the way that we used to do them any more.

With Jay Tompt of REconomy Project.

Highlights:

  • The culture is going to change one way or another. Crashes are going to come, so we’re going to have to come together and realise that we can’t do things the way that we used to do them any more.
  • Unfortunately, a lot of people working for positive change say that if we could change Wal-mart just 10%, that would have such a huge effect. Come on guys, we’re not going to buy our way out of this. And anyway, Wal-mart’s business model is inherently unsustainable.
  • It’s all about doing stuff now. And that means sharing the know-how and supporting other people doing similar things.
